We crave them, praise them, and even feel medieval drinking them. These are the Rhône wines from the very roots of French wine folklore. Many of these vines were planted by the Romans and will now end up as the delicious wine in your chalice. The birthplace of Syrah and Grenache blends that are as wild and visceral as their aromas and flavors suggest. This case is a blend of our own, with some of our team's favorite picks from the Rhône Valley, and a perfect pairing for a night of binge-watching your favorite episodes.

Let's unpack this case!
Domaine du Seminaire Cotes-du-Rhone Blanc, Les Seguines
With Les Seguines white grape varietals Marsanne and Grenache Blanc are the Bonnie and Clyde duo ready to hijack your wine drinking heart right out from under you. The twosome is considered armed with mineral tension and dangerously refreshing. Wanted in many states for premeditated enjoyableness. If seen, contact local cheese authorities, or prepare ahead of time with plenty of Tomme de Savoie or Comte at the ready.
Gilles Robin Crozes Hermitage Cuvee Alberic Bouvet
Pinot Noir is Love is All You Need like Syrah is Oh Darling. Or rather, Paul McCartney really reaches down into his ‘Northern Rhone Valley’ when he’s belting out Oh Darling. Still confused? Soothe your ignorance with this organic wine from Giles Robin, and know you’re drinking Syrah from the savoriest, most soul-stirring place on the planet as you fade into a violet perfume, black pepper/leather nirvana.
Santa Duc Gigondas Aux Lieux-Dits
Think of this wine like a quilt. It’s a blend that has been exquisitely stitched together from all over the Gigondas appellation - from eight different vineyards to be exact - to equal something greater than the sum of its parts. It’s mostly Grenache so there’s umph there, but also a baking spice warmth, and comforting tea tannins that are sure to cozy up your tastebuds and keep you sheltering in good taste.
Santa Duc Vacqueyras Rouge Les Aubes (only included with the 12-bottle case)
Les Aubes is a cherry red gem made for ruby sipping backyard barbeques and pleasure seeking 6-ft away socializing. It’s completely true to its place, repping handfuls of fruity Mediterranean warmth and an olive savoriness sure to bring out the best of your springtime pork chops. Not to mention, it’s produced on a biodynamic estate. It’s also suitable for your next lamb-leg feast!
